I've had this camera for a little over a year, and I love it.

Pros:

-Beautiful pictures, indoors or out

-Great pictures even in low-light conditions

-Outstanding flash

-Easy to use. My 4 year old niece can take great pictures on this camera.

-Movie mode is only limited by how much memory you have.

Cons:

-Zoom is fair, could be better.

-Start up time, depending on battery, can be quite slow.

-Batteries go quite quickly. Get rechargeables.

The battery latch on my camera broke about 5 months ago. I've still used it, it hasn't affected the camera. I just tape up the battery latch.

All in all, I recommend this camera. The pictures are equal to those of a 5MP camera. It is also very easy to use, like I mentioned before, so it is a great first time camera.
